About Me
I’m passionate about helping you explore ease and connection through gentle movement, in a space that feels safe and welcoming. As an RYT 500-certified specialist in trauma-informed yoga, I offer optional nervous system regulation sessions to complement—not replace—your journey toward well-being. These sessions invite you to try mindfulness and yoga-inspired practices at your own pace, separate from therapy.

My approach draws inspiration from trauma research, like Dr. Bessel van der Kolk’s work in “The Body Keeps the Score,” which highlights the body’s role in wellness. But rest assured, our therapy at Steyn Integrative Counseling stands alone as a complete path to healing. Nervous system regulation is simply one of many optional tools—offered for those curious about movement-based exploration.

If you choose to try it, we’ll move slowly, with compassion, focusing on what feels right for you. Sessions (group: $30, private: $140, cash-pay) are entirely voluntary, and I’ll share free alternatives, like guided stretches, if you prefer. You can work with me independently, or not at all—therapy alone is fully effective. If you’d like me to connect with your therapist or provider, a signed release is required for privacy.

Curious? Check our FAQs to learn how nervous system regulation differs from therapy. I’m here to support your choices, no pressure, just possibility.
