About Me
Hello! My name is Leigh and I applaud you for taking a courageous step in pursuing therapy.
I have long held the belief that counseling should be a place where you can bring your authentic self and feel safe to explore what healing looks like for you. Each one of us has a unique story that deserves to be explored for the purpose of living a full life. In our sessions, we will focus on gaining insight into the parts of you that experience anxiety, depression, grief & loss, challenging relationships, trauma, life transitions, or difficulty finding motivation. We are all faced with things that are both in and out of our control so the goal is to learn how to respond in a way that is helpful to our relationships, minds, and overall well being.
My undergraduate degree in Sociology was completed at Taylor University and my graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is through University of the Cumberlands. I have been in the helping field professionally for eight years and have extensive experience in crisis response, leadership training and coaching, working with teens and young adults, grief workshops, and walking alongside people in life transitions.
It would be my honor to join you on your journey to health and healing.
